What is the Pomodoro technique?
Study in focused blocks, traditionally 25 minutes, with a 5-minute break after each and a longer break after four. Short deadlines make it easier to start and to stay off your phone.
Can I change the session length?
Yes. Choose 25 and 5, 50 and 10, or 45 and 15 minutes. Older students often prefer the longer blocks.
Does the timer keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. It keeps time from the clock, so it stays right even if your browser slows background tabs, and the tab title shows the time left.
Is my session count stored anywhere?
Only in your own browser, for today. Nothing is sent to us.
